Ali is an enthusiastic, determined and self-motivated individual with a passion for sports and fitness. He studied Sports Science and Nutrition at St Mary’s University before completing a diploma in Personal Training and Sports Massage Therapy.
For the past 13 years he has worked as a Personal Trainer and Sports Massage Therapist in West London. Ali became involved in boxing coaching in 2010 whilst working at The Park Club (now David Lloyd) in Acton. Since then, Ali has worked with Q Shillingford MBE who develops elite boxers for the GB squads including Anthony Joshua and James Degale to name a few!
The Box London also have great ties with Sky Sports Boxing and secondsout.com YouTube channel within the sport of boxing. Ali has coached former cruiserweight world champion Johnny Nelson when in London for a 10 month period when he was preparing to fight former world champion Marco Huck. Ali has also sparred with various fighters over the past 8 years and has a great interest in promoting, managing and coaching fighters of all levels and ages.
